On December 31st, 2019, a group of 41 individuals in China was recognized as having a mysterious form of pneumonia; this would later (on 7th January, 2020) be identified as a new strand of Coronavirus named COVID-19. Just a few days later, in Thailand, the first case outside of China would be declared.

Back in December of 2019, when the Coronavirus first appeared in Wuhan, China, no one had truly anticipated the damage it would cause across the globe, from Japan to North America. At the time, it was only considered a local threat

We can now say that the Coronavirus global pandemic has forever changed the way governments run countries, companies do business, and citizens live their lives. It’s an unprecedented crisis that has significantly slowed down – if not shut down – many of the world’s economies.
